The Epidural Simulator facilitates knowledge and skills acquisition for the performance of an ultrasound guided Epidural Block and Lumbar puncture. Can be used to learn ultrasound anatomy pattern recognition for spine and neuraxial procedures. Also supports lumbar puncture with simulated CSF (cerebrospinal fluid).
Facilitates learning of anatomy, identification of interspaces and placement of the needle in the epidural space with loss of resistance technique or ultrasound. Full size anatomical structures have an easy to carry footprint. Allows injection practice and needle-eye coordination to safely guide needle insertion. Includes camera and display for visualization of needle/catheter placement. Includes replaceable (fluid filled) intrathecal space for multiple injections and CSF removal.

All simulators by Valkyrie are packaged with care for ease of use and storage by including a custom carry case and custom procedure tray.
The case is durable with reinforced corners, a front carry handle to allow for stacking, and a large top label for easy product identification.
Our custom procedure tray provides easy removal, use, storage, and fluid containment during injection practice.
A drawstring cover is also included to ensure your simulator stays clean and dust free between trainings.
